Partnerships Template for tracking partnership initiatives

Track your business partnerships over time more easily

Partnerships with other businesses and entities can come with many benefits. Good partnerships can help you reduce costs, increase revenue, gain access to more expertise and knowledge, create more opportunities, and enjoy new perspectives. But it can be difficult to decipher whether you are making the most of your partnership in every area.

Fortunately, Lucidspark offers a partnership exploration template to help you track the past, present, and potential outcomes of any partnership. Our template can help you plan meetings, outline talks, propose new integrations, list opportunities you may be missing, and determine use cases for new aspects of your partnership.

Use the Partnerships template in Lucidspark

The Partnerships template is best used during a brainstorming meeting. To use it, share it to your Lucidspark whiteboard. Insert your company’s logo and your partner’s logo. Outline an agenda and list attendees and desired outcomes in the sections provided.

Share your board with the attendees and relevant stakeholders. During the meeting:

  1. Describe your company. Name your products and buyers, and describe how your buyers purchase your product. You can simplify your responsibility during the meeting by uploading relevant videos, articles, and presentations to the template or providing links.
  2. Outline past, present, and planned future integrations with your partner company. Include their current status.
  3. Open the floor to discuss where to take the partnership next. Have the meeting participants add their ideas, along with any questions they may have, to the relevant spaces under "Partnership brainstorm discussion." You may want to use the notes column to keep track of the most promising ideas.
  4. Next, discuss potential use cases for your ideas and add the most promising ideas to the provided section. Take advantage of Lucidspark’s voting features to have the participants select the best ideas.
  5. In the "Opportunity set overview" section, list potential new opportunities. Note the value, potential impact, potential effort, and any outstanding questions your group has about each opportunity in the corresponding column.

The Partnerships template can easily be used for multiple partnerships. As you take advantage of this invaluable tool, you’ll more easily identify what your partnerships have done for you in the past and you’ll be able to create actionable plans to take them to new heights in the future.
